I made this card for the Card of the Month at Stampers Corner. I do not work with animal images often but it was fun to do something outside of my normal type cards. The image is by OnyxXpressions. The pattern paper is by DCWV and Oriental symbol is a piece of jewelry I found at a flea market.

Good Friend…

Each year the Kentucky State Fair is held in Louisville. I decided to enter a card and can only enter one. This is the card I have chosen. The card is made with an image from Lisa’s Altered Art. The pattern paper is by Basic Grey and it is embellished with pink beads by Recollections. I do not recall who the saying is by but I wrote it in calligraphy in a dark brown gauche.

The Eiffel Tower….

Recently I created a series of cards based on a Paris theme using a sheet from Stampsmith. Estelle, the owner of Stampsmith, carries some of the most beautiful photo image stamps. They are some of the first I bought years ago when I discover photo image rubber stamps. I have to say I was thrilled to make these cards for her. I will be sharing several with you over a period of time. This card is made with one of images from the Paris plate. The pattern paper is by Graphic45 and I used gold metallic embroidery thread as the embellishment.

The Flappers…

Recently I took part in a “Flapper” mingle. I used images from B Muse. The backgrounds were made with scrap of pattern paper, card stock embossed with the Cuttlebug, ribbon by Heidi Swap, flourish stamps and then finished with silk flowers (can’t remember who makes them).

Enjoy!!

High Fashion….

I can’t believe it is July already. Summer is in full swing. It has been in the mid nineties here and it appears it will be that way most of the summer. I know I will be inside working hard at my art. One thing I am doing this summer is entering cards in the Kentucky State Fair. Yes, it would be awesome to win but that isn’t the reason for my entry. I decided that it would be a good way to see how my art compares to others in the area. The fair isn’t until next month. I will definitely let you know what the cards are like that are entered.

Today I am sharing a card I created as one of my design projects for Frantic Stamper. The image in by Frantic Stamper. The pattern paper is by Graphic 45 and the pearls and flower are by Recollections.
