Is it really Monday?  My gosh, the weekend flew by…   I spent my entire weekend working on my art and I am thrilled to say I accomplished so much.  I actually got work turned into vendors and that thrills me beyond belief.  I think I have finally turned the corner to being back to creating and posting.  It has been too, too long!!!   I hope each of you had a fabulous weekend.  I hope, too, that you got some stamping time in.

I am sharing an ATC I created.  The main image is by Sweet Pea Stamps.  I used gray card stock and stamped in 2 shades of gray and lime green flourishes in opposite corners.  I ran a lime green ribbon on the right side of the ATC and layered the image on top of the ribbon.  The lime green brads are by Makin Memories.

Yea, it’s the weekend!!!   My week was a tough one and I am so glad it is behind me.  I had dental problems and experienced an abscessed tooth.  OMG, that is something I had never had before and I hope I never ever go through that again.  It was awful!!!  Anyway, I am 100% better and ready to get back to work.  I hope your week wasn’t anything like mine and hope you had some good stamping time available.

I was part of a mingle at my group Stampers Corner called “Traditional/Non-Traditional Holidays of February”.  There are many holidays listed for February but after much thought I came up with an Easter ATC.  The image is by Altered Pages.  The pattern paper is by SEI and the embellishment is by Recollections.

I recently had a dear friend who lost his daughter to a brain tumor.  I didn’t know her but read her Cambridge blog everyday.  The words I read showed her to be the bravest I had ever had enter my life.  She lived life with the most incredible strength and positiveness and did so knowing that she didn’t have much longer to live.  I can’t imagine what it would have been like knowing her in person.  I think the things she wrote about and said would have knocked my socks off.  I know my dear friend misses her terribly and I hope that he will soon feel the sunshine she left behind for us.

I created this card and used it as a sympathy card to send to my friend.  The image I believe is by Hampton Arts (If I am wrong please let me know) and the pattern paper is by My Minds Eye.

Hope this finds you have a fantastic Tuesday.  It has been an extremely busy one for me.  It felt so good to work on art and to actually create something.  I will be sharing some of them soon.  Today I am sharing a piece created with an image by Hampton Arts.  The pattern paper is from the Taj Mahal stack by DCWV.  I stamped the pattern paper with flourishes by Inkadinkado in Encore Silver ink.  The embellishment is by Prima.

Good Morning…  I hope this finds all of you doing great on the Sunday morning.  I have been so remiss in posting and realize I must get on the ball and do better.  I apologize to all who follow me and promise that it will improve in the future.  Along with frustration over my art, I think the weather has had me in a funk and struggling with some medical issues.  But you don’t want to hear that you want to see what all I am up to.  So will work to make sure I visit with you on a more frequent basis.

Since this still February I thought I had better share with you this one this Valentine oriented ATC.  The image is by Altered Pages.  The pattern paper is by K&CO.  The heart embellishment was part of a package of hearts from Hobby Lobby and the flower is by Sandylion.

Hi!  Hope you week is starting off really great.  We have started our off with about 5 inches of snow.  I am not going to complain (I could really whine about it) but will say “Does anyone live somewhere warm that I can move to?”.  I am going to remain positive that it will stop snowing and I can follow through with my plans that the weather keeps messing up.

Today I am an ATC I created using an image from Lisa’s Altered Art.  If you will notice around the edge between the pattern paper and the solid card stock is wording in French.  This is from Lisa’s Altered Art also!!!  The pattern paper is by My Minds Eye, the brad is by Makin Memories and the flowers are by Prima.

Yahoo, it is the weekend!  And Valentine’s weekend, too!  I hope each of you have a wonderful Valentine’s Day.  This year I find myself alone on Valentine’s Day and something I need to adjust to.  I have been sad about it but at the same time realize that things on the horizon are looking up and I do mean looking way up!!  This year I am not complaining about being alone because I am learning that being alone isn’t really all that bad.  Why be in a relationship that you are miserable in when one can be on their own doing something on special days that makes one extremely happy.  This past couple of weeks I have made some moves to make myself happy and they do have an effect on my stamping.

Effective Monday, February 8th, I am back to designing for vendors.   I will try to make the story short and sweet.  I applied for a design team almost a year ago (can’t announce who it is until next week but still have great news).  Since I hadn’t heard anything I figured that I didn’t make the team.  I moved on to working for Frances at Hearts in Touch doing advertising.  I have known for awhile that something was missing in my artistic life but haven’t been able to put my finger on what it was.  Well…the design team has been determined and I was chosen for it.  After much deliberation I decided it was time to return to design work and I have missed it immensely.   It is part of the reason I have been so stuck in doing any artistic work as of lately.  I promise that next week I will be announcing who it is.  But in the meantime I have rejoined “OnxyXpressions” as a design member.  I am thrilled with my decision and really looking forward to designing.

I do want to thank Frances of Hearts In Touch for the awesome opportunity she gave me.  It was interesting working on the advertising side and working with her.  Frances has such awesome stamps and it was a joy to be part of her company.  I think that the design part of me never went away and it was something I missed terribly.  I will still in my own way advertise Frances’ stamps by using them in my art.  They are ones that are too beautiful to pass up. Be sure to check out her latest designs (awesome stamps)!!!  Plus she can order just about any product for stamping you may need.  Check her site out.  Thank you Frances for all you have done for me.

Happy Monday!!!  Hope your weekend was a good one!  Mine was fantastic!  Lots going on and I wish I could share with you the exciting things going on with me but I can’t quite yet.  I am still waiting on the “OK” to share the information.   It will be soon I promise.  It was a gloomy rainy weekend with the addition of snow.  We have more snow moving.  I am so thankful that I have my wonderful art to occupy my time during this long winter.
