My gosh, mid week…

Is it really the middle to the week? I need someone to keep track of the days for me. What do you think?
Last night I had my Calligraphy Guild meeting. We meet the first Tuesday of the month for 1.5 hours. We have the opportunity at the first of the meeting to share any projects/news/awards etc. we have made. I am always in awe of the beautiful art they show. We move onto the business portion and then onto the program portion. The program is usually a new technique for us to learn.
The program portion tonight was the technique Zentangles. To check out what they are go to www.zentangle.com. It was so much fun and I really enjoyed it. I have seen this art many times and always wonder how it was done. I hope to complete the one I started tonight and as soon as I do I will post the results!
Today I am sharing a card that I made with an image by Hampton Arts. The pattern paper comes from a pad of paper that is called Della Fantasia and it is by Crafts Etc. The paper is all earth tones and I liked it when I saw it. I added a bit of blue card stock as that dash of color we add to cards occasionally. I embellished it with silver brads and “Remember” Metal Art by K & Company.

Ohhh, Debi ~ I have the same stamp…..don’t tell me I’m going to have to try to reproduce this card of yours also
Beautiful background paper and the added blue layer really sets it off. I love brown and blue! Did you use Ranger distress ink? Love it!!!
