Christmas Begins….

Posted By Debi on December 2, 2009

The Christmas season has begun and so time to make our lists and check them twice.   Actually my list as rather short as I have few people to put on it.  I have already made 250 cards for a customer and now I need to get my personal Christmas cards made too.  This year I decided to handle my Christmas stamps differently.  All of the stamp I used for my customer I will not use on my own cards.  I thought that way I would not get bored and overwhelmed with the cards I made.   Below I am one that I made for my customer.

Before I share the card I thought I would share some thoughts with you.  I have been thinking about what I want to accomplish next year.  Since it seemed that I didn’t quite accomplish the goals I had this year due to issues that crept up with health, computer, and other issues.  That is ok…it is all in the past.  Time to put it behind me and move on.  So back to my plans for next year.  To begin with I am going to create art in areas that I have wanted to do for some time or I have done just a little bit of it.  Areas are going to be altered tins, altered bottles, altered lens, etc., more mixed media, glass slide jewelry…2×2, 1×1, etc, soldering, etc.  I have many plans.  I have decided I am going to apply for a jurored (I think that is how to spell it) show.  It is time to branch out. Time to show that I have the talent to do so.  Much more to come in the future.

Here is the card for today.  The image is by Hero Arts and the pattern paper is by HOTP.  2009-130Blog
