Happy Holidays!

Posted By Debi on December 14, 2009

Gosh this holiday season is flying by.  I know that I haven’t done a very good job keeping up my blog as of late and I apologize for that.  The days seems to be speeding by and my work just doesn’t seem to get done.  I have to admit I am not happy about it and I just can’t seem to figure how to get the issue resolved.  I know I have talked about not accomplishing things and not getting any art done  on my blog and how much it bothers me.  What is a girl to do?  Maybe I will become a bull rider!!  LOL!!  Anyway, the holiday season is flying by.  I needed to make Christmas cards and have about 3 days to get them done.  I am trying to think of something that will be quick and easy but at the same time look like I spent hours on it.  Any ideas.  Need to finish this up and move on to practicing my calligraphy…working on copper plating.  Absolutely a gorgeous script and written at a weird angle.

The card I am show today is a Christmas card I have created.  It is made with an image by Hearts In Touch.  The pattern paper is by Makin Memories.  It is embellished with ribbon, black photo corners, and red poinsettias by Jolee’s.

Enjoy!!!

Debi, Hi! You are doing great. I just read a great quote – aim for excellence, not for perfection. I love that card. Now, that is perfect, hehehe. It’s so pretty. You have a thing going on with red, I think. ;-) ))
