The Flappers…

Recently I took part in a “Flapper” mingle. I used images from B Muse. The backgrounds were made with scrap of pattern paper, card stock embossed with the Cuttlebug, ribbon by Heidi Swap, flourish stamps and then finished with silk flowers (can’t remember who makes them).

Happy Monday…. Hope all had a good weekend and got to spend some time with your fathers.

I thought I would start the week off by sharing some ATCs and tags I have made. They are made using various images from Altered Pages, Lisa’s Altered Art, various images…some being Hearts To Touch, Time to Stamp, etc. , scraps, and embellishments.

Fabric ATCs….

I have been showing periodically some ATCs I made using fabric for a swap I was in. Fabric is interesting to work with and I don’t think I have gotten the hang of it completely. Hopefully I didn’t do too bad of a job on them. I used scraps to create them. The images are from various images I have saved on my computer over the years. The flowers are by Prima.

Last month I took part in a Fabric ATC swap. These are two of the ATCs I created for the swap. The images are I believe Altered Pages. The pattern paper is scraps from a variety of companies. The embellishing by Jolee’s, K&CO., and Martha Stewart.

April in Paris

I think the warm weather has gotten me moving. I have been stamping like crazy. Lots of new cards and ATCs coming! It feels so good to be working so hard. Can’t believe it is the end of March and Easter. Hope everyone has big Easter plans and hope the Easter Bunny is good to you!!! Spring is here and it is getting warm!!! I am thawing out from winter. Yahoo!!!

This is an ATC I created for the “April in Paris” Mingle at Stampers Corner. The images are by Oxford Impressions. The pattern paper I have had for years and I have no idea who made it. The “Paris” sticker is by Stick-a-bilities and the flower is by Prima.

Happy Monday!! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend. I didn’t do anything very exciting since I am still trying to get over this bad cold I have had. I can’t seem to shake it or maybe it isn’t wanting to shake me.

Today I am sharing an ATC I made for a swap I was in. The theme was to create something out of fabric or muslin. I printed the image onto muslin and then attached it by sewing. The pattern paper is scraps from Basic Gray and the flowers are by Martha Stewart.

Gray/Lime Green ATC

Is it really Monday? My gosh, the weekend flew by… I spent my entire weekend working on my art and I am thrilled to say I accomplished so much. I actually got work turned into vendors and that thrills me beyond belief. I think I have finally turned the corner to being back to creating and posting. It has been too, too long!!! I hope each of you had a fabulous weekend. I hope, too, that you got some stamping time in.

I am sharing an ATC I created. The main image is by Sweet Pea Stamps. I used gray card stock and stamped in 2 shades of gray and lime green flourishes in opposite corners. I ran a lime green ribbon on the right side of the ATC and layered the image on top of the ribbon. The lime green brads are by Makin Memories.

Yea, it’s the weekend!!! My week was a tough one and I am so glad it is behind me. I had dental problems and experienced an abscessed tooth. OMG, that is something I had never had before and I hope I never ever go through that again. It was awful!!! Anyway, I am 100% better and ready to get back to work. I hope your week wasn’t anything like mine and hope you had some good stamping time available.

I was part of a mingle at my group Stampers Corner called “Traditional/Non-Traditional Holidays of February”. There are many holidays listed for February but after much thought I came up with an Easter ATC. The image is by Inka Stamps (now out of business). The pattern paper is by SEI and the embellishment is by Recollections.

Flourished Eyes

Hope this finds you have a fantastic Tuesday. It has been an extremely busy one for me. It felt so good to work on art and to actually create something. I will be sharing some of them soon. Today I am sharing a piece created with an image by Hampton Arts. The pattern paper is from the Taj Mahal stack by DCWV. I stamped the pattern paper with flourishes by Inkadinkado in Encore Silver ink. The embellishment is by Prima.
